Laura Michel received her B.A. from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Art has been an area in which she has always showed interest. Laura is the gallery manager at Jessie Edwards Studio on Block Island. The gallery has given her extensive experience matting and framing varieties of artwork. Block Island's natural beauty has fostered her love for photography.

John Breunig recieved his B.S. from University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. John has experimented with different forms of photography throughout his life. He has worked with black and white, abstract, and nature photography. He also has experience working in a photography lab.

John and Laura's different artistic backgrounds allow them to collaborate on subject matter and composition. The different seasons provide endless canvases of "one of the last great places". Each day provides an opportunity for capturing the changing seas and landscapes. The couple enjoys living year-round on Block Island.
